This issue was raised in the Wall Street Journal, Sept 2, 2008. While the article didn’t pick a clear small business champion as neither has been altogether perfectly clear on all the issues, the primary issues effecting small businesses seem to be health insurance and taxes. A key impacting issue is the often discussed mandate to require small businesses to cover their employees health insurance costs. McCain has come out against this, and Obama hasn’t really made his position clear. Taxes are another major issue, with McCain calling to make the Bush tax cuts permanent, whereas Obama desires to limit the tax cuts to those earning less than $250,000. McCain has also proposed lowering the top corporate tax rate to 25%, whereas Obama has said he plans to leave it where it is. In the end, small business owners are listening for a commitment to their needs.
I am so happy about my order. I am thrilled that it came so fast. Your company is now number one on my list of wholesalers. Thank you for being so prompt.
