Great thinking, its rigth time, inflation is high, gas prices are up, and I am sure rental market is slow so u can get a good deal as for as rental space is concerned. I think it will work? what about online store?
Few points u need to remember before opening a dollar store.
- Carefully Choose ur items/ products so that u competete with big stores.
- Choosen items must be present on sales floor all time, so make sure ordering, receiving, pricing, staffing are done correctly, If the item is not on sales floor means u r loosing customer.
- Calculate the length of the items sitting on store, if u feel sitting time is long means you are loosing money, correct?
- Decide Is it better for you an item sitting on store or selling in less profit?
- Work on above rules and if you feel it will work then u r in good shape.
